This is a really interesting Channel 4 programme with Sarah Beeny, who assists people with ambitious plans to extend their houses. As always, Sarah Beeny has a wealth of great ideas (which are not always listened to by the householders!) about all aspects of the building project.

The idea behind the show is to prove that people can have their dream home, even though they cannot afford to buy their dream house. Through imaginative planning and careful budgeting it is possible to have that dream home simply by extending the house you already have. In each case the value added to the house far exceeded the amount spent on the extension, which is great news for householders who increase the value of their house and get that dream home to enjoy.
